Opeth - Ghost of Perdition - drum cover
Here it is ! Probably my biggest drum cover and the one I am most proud of. The only reason there’s not a lot of Opeth covers is because of how difficult their songs are. I love this band so much and I feel so inspired listening to Martin Lopez and Martin Axenrot drum parts. They are both huge inspiration for me and absolutely incredible creative drummers.
This song took quite a while to learn and I tried my very best to master it before recording it to have the best result.
It’s the first time I’ve cried at the end of a drum cover. During this pandemic I worked harder than ever trying to become a better drummer. I’ve challenged myself a lot despite having no gigs at all. Finding the discipline and motivation is not always easy. When I learned this song and many of the recent on my channel I felt very proud of myself. I had an incredible feeling of self love that’s hard to describe with words. I feel more and more accomplis
