Reacting to the 1812 Overture Live | Cannons in the Orchestra

Hello! I’m an American on a quest to learn more about history, geography and the universe in general. In this video we take a look at the story behind Tchaikovshy’s famous 1812 Overture, why he wrote it, when we wrote, and the grand plans for it to be performed - that never came to be. Then we watch the 1812 Overture performed live at the Royal Albert Hall by the Hallé Orchestra, conducted by Mark Elder. Pyro takes the place of cannons in the orchestra, and the church bells are ringing!
