Evolution of Technology and Humanity | Amy Dwyer | TEDxBrampton

According to Oxford dictionary, technology is the “application of scientific knowledge with practical purpose.“ Find out how technology can be used in all facets of life. Currently enrolled at the University of Waterloo Bachelor of Engineering program, Amy’s career goal is to become a mechatronic engineer in order to further advance scientific and technological progress: this will hopefully aid as many people as possible within our lifetime and beyond. At NTN Bearings Manufacturing Canada, Amy presented data gathered from machines to various managers and the vice president to give recommendations on how to reduce offline production, created and edited Standard Operating Procedures, designed histograms, charts, powerpoint presentations, monthly production reports, and logged information into varying databases to keep track of receipts and quality control reports.
