Scroll Saw Basket Shaped Like A Carriage

A basket shaped like a royal carriage. The pattern is from Steve Good. I downsized it by 25% in order to fit it on my available material. I only had a 6 inch wide board and the pattern was nearly 8 inches. I had to scrounge my scrap for some 3/16 material to fit the slots that the connecting slats fit in. I am unhappy with the final fit and finish.... all of it my fault. But this could be a very nice finished project if done well. I may revisit it when I get the proper width wood and use a different finish. Link to pattern:
