Ferry ft. Ki Peum Kim “Till Midnight“ BMPCC4K with Contax Zeiss 18 28 35 50 85 135 Ronin-S

Since it would be a little too cheesy to have the artist herself in Seoul, I have created the concept that the Korean artist is a cupid to two foreigners that meet up in Seoul. I already knew of some great locations that we would be permitted to film at. I didn’t have any assistants and we had to move quite fast between locations to catch the sun at the right time. That’s where the minimal setup came in handy, with a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K on a Ronin-S and my “little“ Contax Zeiss lens set. I could fit everything in my back pack, which made moving fast between locations much easier. The Contax lenses gave the music video a wonderful aesthetic, and helped soften up the city’s rather real and clinical feel. The high ISO mode on the Pocket 4K allowed me to film the darker scen
