Yocheved Lifshitz, 85, one of the two Israeli hostages released by Hamas on Monday said she and other hostages were “treated well“. She described how there were women to help with feminine hygiene and that they were given the same food as their captors. While answering questions by members of the press, Lifshitz also said she and others “went through hell” and that she was beaten when Palestinian fighters attacked her kibbutz on 7 October.
