The Legend of 1900 (1998) - ’Playing Love’ scene [1080p]

(Italian title - ’La Leggenda Del Pianista Sull’ Oceano’) The music in this film is a masterpiece score by Ennio Morricone, who composed both the music that 1900 plays in the film, as well as the film’s score. This scene shows the first, simplest version of the beautiful main theme, which 1900 composes on the spot as he watches a girl walking around on deck. This piece was then central to the plot of the film, as it resurfaces on a broken vinyl record years later. The longer (165 mins) version of the film is highly recommended. Written and directed by Giuseppe Tornatore, with a Golden Globe winning score by Ennio Morricone.
