Anna Veith, one of the greatest skiers of recent years and a champion who has marked an era just announced her retirement from ski racing. On Friday 5th of June 2020 at CET you will be able to relive one of the most exciting battles that women’s ski racing have ever had. The overall and GS titles would go to the last run of the last race of 2014/15 season: the Giant Slalom in Meribel World Cup finals. Anna Veith was then trailing Maze by 18 points in the overall and had an 86-point lead over teammate Eva Maria Brem in the GS standings. Veith took an outstanding win and with it the Giant Slalom and Overall titles.
