How to Choose Colours and Use a Painter’s Wheel

The three things you need to consider each time you select a new colour are: 1) Is the colour I’m picking warmer or cooler than the current colour? 2) Is the colour I’m picking lighter or darker than the current colour? 3) Is the colour I’m picking more or less saturated than the current colour?
