I have always loved the genre “vocalese“ with jazz singers such as John Hendricks, Eddie Jefferson or Ella. Always wanted to write and record my own tune in this style. So I wrote this song, music by myself and lyrics with my friend Ray Thompson. I could hear Kims amazing voice from the beginning and was thrilled to have her on the record, what a talent :-) Plus we have the wonderful string orchestra conducted by Thilo Wolf, with a great arrangement by Raphael Thöne, what an honour to have this wonderful sound on my record.
