THE OUTLAST TRIALS | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

Outlast is amongst the best horror games I have ever played. They combine triple A quality graphics and presentation with a terrifying plot and atmosphere. Its sequel received mixed reactions and therefore it came as a surprise that their next installment would be a co-op focused game. Though luckily it is also playable in singleplayer mode. Outlast Trials tells the story of various people who have to participate in challenges and experiments. We will get dropped in various locations and have to avoid roaming enemies while completing different tasks. The game was surprisingly tense and scary without feeling like other co-op games like Dead by Daylight. Exploration is very rewarding and the jumpscares are pretty effective. There are definetely moments when you can see that the co-op would shine as team members can distract the enemies or you have to press buttons on different locations to pass down certain items.
