Dog walker dies after being found with head injuries on path as man arrested on suspicion of murder

A dog walker has died four days after she was found with serious head injuries on a country path. A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of mum-of-six Anita Rose. The 57-year-old was found unconscious near Rectory Lane in Brantham, Suffolk shortly after 8am on Wednesday. She had left her house at around 5am to take her springer spaniel, named Bruce, for a walk. Anita was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital for treatment but died on Sunday morning, police have said.
