Ghosts of Neo Tokyo - Midjourney Animated Video (Prototype)

I am thrilled to share something with you that has been close to my heart for many years and is finally beginning to take shape. 15 years ago this vision made me want to learn video editing, which led me to 3D design and ultimately brought me to generative AI. While I never considered myself an expert on either of them, I feel like all the knowledge I’ve absorbed in different disciplines over the last years seems to flow together. Even though my experiments with Controlnet and tools like Ebsynth and TemporalKit (which are ongoing) are very promising for the future of this industry, I realized that sometimes the simplest approach is the best, so I began experimenting with animating generated still images. I am proud to share with you a prototype of my work, which I created using a combination of #midjourney and manual editing. This proof of concept has given me the confidence to pursue my vision even more passionately and put it out there. I’m working towards creating a fully-realized story with consistent characters to establish #animanga, a hybrid between digital manga and anime that reads like a #manga , but is animated, dubbed, and underlaid with music to create an even more immersive experience.
