Tropical cyclone Owen approaches eastern Australia, brings heavy rain and flooding

A zombie cyclone that powered back from the dead is building in strength as it moves closer to the Australian Northern Territory coastline, bringing torrential rain, flooding and destructive winds of up to 170 kilometers per hour to the Northern Territory and Queensland. Seventeen people have been rescued by helicopter and 100 people are stranded in their cars on a flooded Hume Highway in northeast Victoria.
