My entry into the Dark Souls Story contest. In this age of darkness, a crippled world remains. The charred, decrepit ruins of what once was looms in front of the chosen, a path laid before him that has been walked before. Danger looming around every corner, with twisted monsters blocking every path. Formerly great men and women turned to something foul, beastly. Many proud warriors have fled or succumbed.
