We are Time: time perception and human brain

This episode is dedicated to neuroscience of time perception. Dr. Wittmann tells how people sence (percieve) time, which brain structures are involved in this process and which factors may disturb it. We discussed how altered states of mind affect the subjective time, which protocols scientists use to study time perception, how to manage time, how schizophrenia changes the human mind and time perception. Also, Dr. Wittmann talks about experimental methods in psychiatry like a floatation tank and psychedelics, and many interesting things more. I added some references and images on the topics we have discussed. Thanks for this advise in your comments to the first episode. I added a picture of the brain with regions involved in memory processing. This is in a brief from, different types of memory exsist and in reality the picture is more complicated. I will make several episodes about memory and learning. But take this image as a start point. ;) In my Instagram I always announce topics of following episodes, ask about suggestions, etc. So, if you want to participate in the project, follow me. There is also my harp music and poetry on the page. Thank you for watching and zour feedback in comments.
