Protesters take to streets of Tarragona over Hard Rock hotel complex

Activists from more than 80 organizations gathered in Tarragona to denounce the proposed Hard Rock mega hotel complex, which incorporates a casino. They voiced their concerns about the project, initially known as ‘Barcelona World,’ arguing that it neglects sustainability, exploits the region’s resources, and that the area should not be a ‘waste dump’ for such developments.
