Russian teams helped save many lives – Syrian President Assad

Russian servicemen are assisting disaster-hit people in Syria, clearing the rubble left by a major earthquake, while Russian firefighting aircraft helped to extinguish fires that started in Türkiye following the quake. Syrian President Bashar Assad has expressed gratitude to the Russian rescuers for their help.
