Dressing like Downton Abbey - Lady Edith ’s Coat

In this short video I collected 2,5 years of re-creating and hand-embroidring this amazing outfit of Lady Edith’s. Here in the video I show you how I made these clothes according to the series and to the original 1920s vintage clothes. . This project includes: the hand-embroidered coat itself, blue hand-embroidered blouse, two skirts (one with plisse pleats and another one with embroidered pattern), little purse. All of these clothes are sewn and embroidered by me. In the video I used beautiful photos taken by annkhrom and stills and screenshots from Downton Abbey series. .
