The Wrangell St. Elias National Park is the largest national park in the United States at over 13.2 million acres. The mountain peaks in the park top over 18,000 feet above sea level with massive glaciers covering most of the mountains in the park. While it may not be as well known as Denali or Yellowstone, it rivals all parks in the United States for it extreme beauty, ruggedness, remoteness, and it is just a land of plain “extremes“ in every way.
