This promo is for the October 2022 Dance Salmagundi Samhain Spectacular Show on October 30th at Dusk in Providence, RI, where I already have a group together to perform. “The Witches Dance“ is performed to “Schüttel deinen Speck (Shake Your Bacon)“ by Peter Fox. The location of this video is a cosy little nook off of the main path of the spacious Chase Farm in Lincoln, RI. “The Witches Dance“ will also be performed by several members of the RI Witches Guild as part of the Hearthside House Museum’s first ever Fall fundraising event, “BeWitched & BeDazzled“ on October 1st, 2022, themed after “Hocus Pocus 2“, the movie due out in the Fall and filmed, in part, at this very Chase Farm. Where did the witches dance come from? “The Witch Dance started in Germany in 2016 when the women of the Wolfshäger Hexenbrut, in English: The Wolf Hunter’s Coven, performed a flash mob-styled dance at a Walpurgis celebration.
