STRATOLAUNCH - World’s Largest Airplane That Can Launch Rockets

Stratolaunch, the world’s largest aircraft by wingspan, completed it’s first flight on April 13, 2019. The airplane took off at 0658 PDT on April 13, 2019, from the Mojave Air & Space Port, and flew for 2.5 hours, achieving a maximum speed of 189 miles per hour and reaching altitudes of up to 17,000 feet. Stratolaunch has dual fuselages, an all-composite design and has a wingspan greater than the length of an American football field Stratolaunch describes its vessel as the “world’s largest plane“ but there are aircraft which are longer from nose to tail.
