Ape Escape - Time Station // a lo-fi breather

Did you ever just leave this on in the background to listen to the music? I know, I know. There’s an evil monkey out there across the vastness, doing weird stuff to the time-space continuum. He can wait ~ after all, this place is a time machine :’) This lo-fi breather is a remix of Time Station from Ape Escape (PS1, 1999) MP3 / Flac download link over on my patreon: For the gear fiends out there, I recorded a Korg Volca Keys synthesizer through a 90s cassette dictaphone to achieve this [warbly~warm~grainy] sound. Every synth sound was recorded to the dictaphone separately, and then mixed together in the computer later. The drum sounds were sampled from a Teenage Engineering Pocket Operator PO-12.
