Davy was first hooked by Frampton’s sound when he heard his recording of George Harrison’s song ’While My Guitar Gently Weeps’. ’Hear Me Lord’ was written by George Harrison and released on his album ’All Things Must Pass’ in 1970; Peter Frampton actually played session guitar on that record (which was also co-produced by Phil Spector).
