Sony A7S II + Gimbal: Nature’s Best

A short nature film captured with the Sony A7S II and the Panasonic Lumix LX100 in 4K (3840x2160) in summer 2016. For most shots the cameras were mounted on the Zhiyun Crane, a 3-axis hand-held gimbal, to help stabilize the footage. The gimbal is not designed for lightweight cameras like the LX100 so we had to stabilize most of that footage using Warp Stabilizer. The film was edited in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017 and color corrected using Lumetri. The original aspect ratio was 16:9 but we cropped it to .
