Driving Tips With Paddy Hopkirk Aka Paddy Hopkirk (1964)

Southampton, Hampshire. Paddy Hopkirk is seen driving his red Monte Carlo rally driving Mini, number 37, on the skid track, backing it through obstacles and skid turning. C/U of a photographer’s press camera. There are lots of shots of the car on the track, including point of view shots from a car in front . We then see Paddy, in a light blue mini, driving around on the some local suburban streets and some countryside roads. He looks at other drivers - giving comments about signalling and overtaking. There are good point of view shots from the car of the driving in 1960’s Britain with few road signs and traffic. The weather is wintery.
