Gnossienne #1 by Erik Satie - Praful Solo Live in Amsterdam

During his concert on 23 October 2014 in Amsterdam, Podium Mozaiek, saxophonist and flutist Praful played this solo piece by Erik Satie, Gnossienne #1. In 2014 he has released an album with many of the contemplative pieces from Erik Satie, together with the French Classical Harp player Helvia Briggen: The Silent Side of Satie In absence of his harp playing colleague, he records a simple vocal accompaniment with a looping device, over which he then develops the composition and improvisations. more info: thanks to Eddie Boschma and Jan den Ouden for filming and recording this entire concert
