One hour loop of an engine room sequence from James Cameron’s “Titanic“ (1997). This is the part where the engines of the RMS Titanic have been reversed, following the “Full Astern“ order from the bridge on the command of First Officer William Murdoch after the iceberg had been sighted. In fact, the order was for the engines the stop, but the “full astern“ legend possibly started with the conflation of two different parts of the timeline of events from the sighting of the iceberg to the Titanic coming to her final stop that night, and it has persisted thanks to the numerous iterations of the Titanic saga in various media over the last 100 years.
