Spot — Spot 1972 (Switzerland, Heavy Progressive/Folk Rock) Full Album
An English-language band from Switzerland with their self-titled and only album, which was released on the “Evasion” label, specializing mainly in pop and folk artists, and is one of the rarest examples of Swiss rock of the 70s. Only a few copies made it outside of Switzerland. A mixture of hard rock and progressive, with guitars a la “Cream” and Jimi Hendrix, and bluesy vocals. Particularly noteworthy is the creative duo of bassist Andre Jungo and drummer Philippe Dubugnon - compositions written by them make up nine of the ten original tracks on the album.
