Kelly Moran Memorial Race - IMS 9-30-2011

Tonight’s race is dedicated to our fond memories of Kelly Moran, The Wizard Of Balance. I saw Kelly race his first, First Division race at Irwindale in 1977. He was so small he couldn’t put both feet on the ground, he launched half-off the bike, one foot on the ground. His results are legion, anyone that knows anything about Speedway knows about Kelly Moran. Multi-time American National Champion as well as being a holder of several world titles, he did it all.
