UPDATE: Two people were hospitalized after a large brawl broke out near the Santa Monica Pier Saturday afternoon. At around 2:21 p.m., Santa Monica police responded to reports of a fight just north of the Santa Monica Pier near Tower 14. A police drone arrived at the scene first and witnessed an active fight taking place on the crowded beach. During the brawl, one person was stabbed and another possibly broke his ankle, police said.
