Bad weather resulted in severe thunderstorms developing across various parts of Italy this week. Initially, a thunderstorm hit Italy’s northeastern Veneto province on Wednesday. This produced enormous hailstones over 4 inches in diameter, causing immense damage and mayhem. Then, a second storm surge brought another dangerous situation to parts of Lombardy on Thursday night. Cernusco sul Naviglio, a suburb of Milan, was hit by a massive, potentially deadly tornado.
