Madrid Malasaña walking tour, best district for afternoon and nighlife

Malasaña, located in the very city center of Madrid, Spain, is the quintessential district for Spanish legendary movida. All sort of shops and food can be found here, constantly overcrowded and contributing to Madrid’s nightlife. Sometime called Barrio de Maravillas (Wonders Neighborhood) or Universidad (University), the district is limited by the Gran Vìa, Fuencarral street, San Bernardo street and the Bilbao district area. It is very similar to the near Chueca district. It can be reached via the Metro stop “Gran Via“. 00:00 Gran Vìa 00:37 Fuencarral street 05:39 Entering Malasaña 07:21 Plaza San Ildefonso 08:33 Corredera Baja de San Pablo 10:43 Calle del Pez and other narrow streets 19:55 Plaza Juan Pujol and other narrow streets 22:20 Plaza Dos de Mayo (heart of Malasaña) 24:18 More narrow streets 35:31 Plaza de la Luna (officially, de Santa Marìa Soledad Torres Acosta) 39:44 Gran Vìa again
