Mother’s Pride: Incredible Moment of Birth of Rare Giraffe Caught on Camera

The incredible moment of birth; a rare giraffe was born at Chester Zoo and it was all caught on camera. There are less than 1,700 Rothschild’s giraffes left in the wild, making it one of the most endangered mammals. The male calf should eventually reach around 18 feet in height and weigh more than 2,200 pounds.
