Before the death sentence was imposed, he was under arrest for more than 9 years (the verdict was announced on 02/27/2004). From the moment of his arrest to the execution of the sentence, Teacher Asahara served 23 years (3210 days) in prison. After the 14th court session and until the end of the earthly journey (22 years), Teacher Asahara remained silent. On July 6, 2018, Asahara was executed. Also the mind of the Divine Compassion, a great sorrow regarding to the absence of freedom, the misfortunes and the sufferings that comes up in the souls who don’t know the Absolute Truth; it is the words and actions based on the Absolute Truth, with the objective to delete those sufferings and misfortunes. In other words, is the practice of Karuna, the Divine Compassion. This state of mind is full of joy and the praise with respect for those who attained the state of the Absolut Freedom, Happiness and Joy, practicing the Absolute Truth, that is to say, is the practice of the Divine Praise. And finally, is the state of the mind which I use for not paying attention at all to my own sufferings, misfortunes and the absense of freedom, regardless of how serious they are, because of this three practice that i mentuibed before. And this is the practice of Upeksha, of the Divine Detachment. This is all that i have to said now“. (RU) Обсуждение смертного приговора, на японском телевидении в программе «Прямой эфир до восхода солнца». Учитель Сёко Асахара, был арестован в 40 лет, 16 мая 1995 года. До вынесения смертного приговора, под арестом находился более 9-ти лет ( года был оглашен приговор). С момента ареста, до приведения приговора в исполнение, Учитель Асахара отсидел в тюрьме 23 года (3210 дней). После 14-го заседания суда и до завершения земного пути (22 года), Учитель Асахара хранил молчание. 6 июля 2018 года Асахара был казнён. Речь Учителя на суде: (со времени ареста Сёко Асахары это было его первое прямое послание внешнему миру) «Как до, так и после того, как меня арестовали, я жил одним состоянием души. Это работа души, действия слов и поступки, направленные на то, чтобы все души обрели Абсолютную Свободу, Абсолютное Счастье и Абсолютную Радость благодаря Абсолютной Истине, единственного, за счет чего можно обрести это, и желание помочь им в этом, то есть это Майтри, практика Святой Любви. Это сознание сострадания, большая печаль по отношению к несвободе, несчастью и страданиям, возникающим из душ, не знающих Абсолютной Истины, слова и поступки, которые благодаря Абсолютной Истине хотят устранить их, другими словами Каруна, практика Святого Сострадания. Это сознание радости и восхваления Абсолютной Свободы, Абсолютного Счастья и Абсолютной Радости, возникающих в людях, практикующих Абсолютную Истину, а также подобные слова и поступки, то есть Мрита, практика Святой Похвалы. И моя психология - это сознание, совершенно не обращать внимания на несвободу, несчастье и страдания, какими бы они ни были, которые возникают во мне благодаря этим трем практикам, другими словами Упекша, практика Святого Безразличия. На этом все больше мне сказать нечего».
