Global Pattern : Solarpunk: A Brighter Perspective
Solarpunk is just a name for the eternal hope of the humanity – to live in harmony with each other, to know no fear, no war or domination of any kind over each other or any species on this planet. To find freedom of expression without limiting the freedom of others or exploiting the biosphere – which still remains a vessel for all of us. The closer examination of modern sociology, alternative politics, ecology, high tech and biology shows that a huge deal of tools needed for that has already been discovered. Yet, we live in the dystopian now of consumerism, corporate dictatorship, pharmaceutical control, global surveillance and declining ecology... That’s why we need sun-drenched dreams like solarpunk, because dreaming is revolutionary in times like these, when even the art world and virtual reality, the last resorts of free thought are becoming more and more controlled by the advertisement algorithm.
