Sam’s Moon Portrait: Adding Sheers in the Final Draft

I’m on the final draft of my fabric collage portrait of my son Sam. I’ve interpreted him as a crescent moon with the earth behind him. I’m leaning toward the title “Earthshine.“ Earthshine is when sunlight reflects off the earth and casts its light onto an otherwise unlit part of the moon. In this video I show you how I work with sheers, organzas, tulles, and other semi-transparent fabrics to add highlights, shadows, definition, and just overall pizzazz.
