Crowds descend on Ottawa’s downtown core for protest against vaccine mandates

Despite warnings of the possibility of trouble caused by ’lone wolves’ or unaffiliated groups, the first day of the truck convoy protest in Ottawa was more party than riot. And many protestors resented the suggestion they might cause violence.
