Kai Warner and His Orchestra play this Cole Porter classic for you, and the arrangement here is simply fantastic. This one is a bit special to me personally as it reminds me of my very first LP (which I bought in a small recordshop in a small village :-) It was a Polydor sampler titled “Stereo Spectacular“ and it actually was the ’piece of vynyl’ that triggered my love for orchestral/instrumental music. I remember playing this Kai Warner gem over and over again because it always made me feel happy. (It still has that effect on me :-) Written in 1938 by Cole Porter and well known in Marylin Monroe’s version of some 20 years later, “My heart belongs to daddy“ goes swingin’ in this version arranged by Kai Warner. Enjoy !
