Ex-police chief rips into Surrey’s policing plan

The ex-police chief of Surrey is ripping into mayor Doug McCallum’s municipal policing plan. Fraser MacRae — who spent eight years as the Officer in Charge of the Surrey RCMP before retiring in 2012 — says McCallum still hasn’t answered basic questions about what the transition from RCMP to a municipal force will look like.
