Trip video: Lao Skyway flight on Xian MA60 (Luang Prabang to Vientiane)

Another trip video this time on this Chinese built Xian MA60 operated by Lao Skyway. Overall this flight was quite pleasant, with a meal service in the flight. Most of the flight appeared to be at relatively low altitude, where you can observe the Lao countryside (Chinese construction work (belt and road initiative) is being undertaken on the new high-speed rail link). This is one of two MA60 aircraft in the Lao Skyway fleet which the MA600 variant is still in production has a number of active orders and loosely competes with the Dash fleet (Bombardier, now DHC) and the ATR-42 - however the MA60’s origins are firmly Russian.
