Laurie Wright - The Pirate (Live in Jersey)

Here we were, in the corner of a sold out 80 cap Jersey boozer @bluenotejsy playing them the debut album, live in its entirety for a one off exclusive working holibobs, courtesy of our wonderful friends at @bubblebrainrecords . The one and only @gazdabass recorded the audio with (I shit you not) 1 zoom microphone, and the lead vocal on another channel. So what you’re hearing here was recorded on 2 microphones and that’s it.. he’s mixed it remarkably well! I’m proper surprised at how good this sounds man, Thankyou so much! the video was Chris in charge of 1 camera doing a sterling job 🙌. The event was set up and promoted by the mob boss @jimfromtheauthor , who ensured we had press and radio ahead of the gig and sorted the flights and put us up etc.. we’re not even playing any of our own equipment here, as we flew without it to save cost and played their gear on arrival. These fellas flew us over, put us up and I’m glad to call em friends now. It was a blinding weekend, and this audio and video
