Target records hard a hard time deciding if this song should be the “A“ side of our first single so.... They made a promo call-in ((WRIT?). (“The News Is Out“ was much more commercial). We preferred “Girl in the Wind“ musically - it had a tad more we called in a lot. LOL. I’m kinda proud we did that. Jim Paolo was a great bassist at 17 years old, he went on to study bass and is a profound jazzer in Milwaukee. He’s also one of the funniest guys I ever met. Leon Klekowski was our drummer and what a drummer he was. I think he was 15 or 16 at the time. loud.
