ANGEMI & Shei - Atlantis

ANGEMI and Shei team up on the huge ‘Atlantis’ ANGEMI joins forces with Shei for the pounding ‘Atlatntis’. ANGEMI is a name synonymous with quality releases on Smash The House, his latest release on the label ‘Ciuri Ciuri’ with Mariana Bo garnering support from the likes of label bosses Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Bassjackers, following on from releases such as ‘Fire’, ‘Show Your Flame’ and ‘On Your Side’. On top of that ANGEMI has performing at Tomorrowland for a number of years. Shei is is an on-fire South American DJ with a taste for the harder side of dance music, which is shown in abundance on ‘Atlantis’. The reverb-drenched flute sets the tone early on, joined by orchestral strings that fill the track and come in the form of stabs and more sustained notes that combine to give the track epic film-like tension. This classic feel transforms into an electric synth lead that follows the melody, which is joined on the drop by a pounding hardstyle kick. A delayed, stuttering synth stab is introduced on the main drop, punctuated by war drums before the track is turned on its head by a pulsating bassline that is sure to take dancefloors by surprise. ANGEMI and Shei have both been pushing the boundaries recently with their trademark sounds, capturing the attention of heavyweights such as Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Timmy Trumpet and Steve Aoki. And with ‘Atlantis’ that growing number of top-tier fans is only set to increase.
