Tony Junior and Dimatik channel Eastern influences on new Smash The House release ‘Kangaskhan’ Known for his collaborations on tracks with NERVO and Steve Aoki and Tiësto, both of which have amassed over 10 million Spotify streams, Tony Junior is back with a brand new release with Dimatik, whose massive track ‘Punjabi’ with Timmy Trumpet has itself reached over 16 million listens. New single ‘Kangaskhan’ is a track which certainly shows off an eclectic range of influences and does not shy away from experimentation. The track propels into action with a sturdy electronic kick, living up to its name with undeniable Eastern folksy influences showcased through foreign-tinged stringed elements. A fast and hard drop provides stark contrast, whilst the sounds of sitars and pipes creep into the mid-section, which is then built up by a synthy echo and given serious depth.
