Synopsis: Brothers Frank and Jerry Lee Flannigan are high-school dropouts living hand to mouth in a series of grim motel rooms in Reno. Drunk and driving through a blizzard, Jerry Lee hits and kills a teenage boy riding a bike and the two brothers decide to flee Nevada for a new life in Montana. When the heat is off, they return to Reno, but the guilt and psychic wounds left over from the accident drive them ever deeper into despair.
