When me and Fraser began sending beats and lyrics back and forth, we became increasingly excited by the potential scale of the music, by which lanes and genres we might be influenced by, and whether or not I could step up to a big beat like this. Instantly after hearing it, I got the hook stuck in my head, and I had to write the track. It’s pretty tongue-in-cheek, an admission that you don’t find that many women platformed in the music industry making this kind of a song, and I just go with that theme throughout.
