With youthful exuberance, Tony Hicks’ guitar work, Bobby Elliott’s great drumming, and harmonius vocal, “Look Through Any Window“ is one of the Hollies’ best early hits. Written by Graham Gouldman and Charles Silverman, it was recorded by the Hollies on June, 30, 1965 at the Abbey Road Studios. It was released on the Parlophone label in the UK on August 27, reaching #4, and in the US in September on Imperial Records, reaching #32, becoming their 1st big American hit. It was included in their American album, Hear! Here! and can be found on the CDs Best of the Hollies: Air That I Breathe and The Hollies’ Greatest Hits on EMI.
