Speech processing hierarchy in the dog brain

In a study published in Scientific Reports (), researchers at the Department of Ethology at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Hungary () found that dog brains, just as human brains, process speech hierarchically: intonation at lower, word meaning at higher stages.
