Midnight Doggie Illustration in Cinema 4d // The Practice 176

This week we created a stylized model of a dog and used sweeps and spheres to create a flowing, abstract background. We also used the compositing tag to separate out the dog’s alpha from the background, allowing us to tweak colors and contrast in photoshop. This is often a simpler workflow than altering many textures and re-rendering in your 3d software. We also added some hand drawn details to the background in photoshop with a wacom tablet.
